Casa Blanca Mexican Restaurant & Cantina: Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Huntsville, AL

My husband and I haven't been here in at least 5 or 6 years. We just don't get to this side often and we came last night and want to say Thank You! In 42 years I swear this is this first meal I've sat down and ordered that food was actually hot, not just the plate. The food was perfectly cooked. Very great portions. I told my husband I can't wait to come back, we definitely are going to make it more of a normal thing because it was worth our drive, time and money. If I could give 10 stars I would.

When entering Casa Blanca, I expected a small space. It was much larger than I anticipated and colorfully decorated. The decor is fairly typical Mexican restaurant. The murals on the back wall look surrealistic but I have seen the same decor in other restaurants. It essentially depicts people with strange appearance—much as if a person died and has come back to life (see photo). This is not as mellow and relaxing as a beach scene on the Gulf of Mexico but it is colorful. The food and service were very good. I had a chicken dish. The chicken was pounded into a flat piece of chicken and spread out on much of the plate. It had a good flavor and well seasoned. The rice was very good as were the beans although slightly salty. My dining companion had an enchilada dish which was also very good. Prices are reasonable—especially in view of the 8%+ inflation from last year that is now reflected in restaurant prices. Plenty of margaritas to choose from as well!

Service is so-so. But the food is still good. Prices are higher than other Mexican restaurants, but the portion is big enough to share or have leftovers. The grilled peppers are SO HOT! But you can't stop eating them!!

We had 15 guests in our party. We were feeding the speaker. The food was OK. The beef taco salad was not that good. There was no tomatoes on it. I had lettuce taken off. Cheese was on the beef and sour cream and Pico de gallo was on the side with cheese sauce in a small cup.

Friendly staff, good service and good food. Excellent guacamole is freshly made. Warm tortilla chips. Large portions on entrees.

I have been going to the Bailey Cove Casa Blanca location for almost my whole life, so I felt like I owed it to them to leave a great review, because my experience has always been amazing. Excellent lunch deal prices, and the portions are very generous for the price. If I wanted to, I could be in and out of there in 15 minutes because the service is so fast. And of course, the food is delicious!

This place, amazing . The service was great, friendly and good vibe. No wait time at 1pm on a Saturday Ordering was ez I got the Dilla Pizza and it was delicious. Filled with chicken bacon cheese and pineapple. Each bite was balanced full, warm and had the right amount of bacon crunch. The chicken was seasoned and flavorful This food 9.8 out of 10. Great lunch! Would Recommend

Service was fast and the food was delicious. Came here for a late night dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the massive portion sizes. You will definitely have some left overs! I had the chicken and rice plate with a side of beans. Prices are fair for the amount of food received. Highly recommend coming here after spending a day at Blevins Gap as it’s only 7 min away from the trailhead.
